A YORKSHIRE OAK AND INLAID PRESS CUPBOARD
Late 17th century
Chequer and floral inlaid throughout, the upper three panels incorporating pairs of birds, the upper section with canted sides and outer carved edges to each panel, the central panel as a door and flanked by bulbous-carved columns, the lower section with a gadrooned and foliate frieze drawer with further lozenge and rosette-carved frieze below, above a pair of doors with stylised foliate uprights
