Late 17th or 18th century
The rim cast with fleur de lis motifs, the body with caryatid buttresses, intersecting medallions and portrait relief heads
6 1/8in. (15.5cm.) diameter; 4in. (10cm.) high;
a copy of a Louis XIII bronze mortar -- 5 5/8in. (14.2cm.) diameter; an associated bronze pestle, 17th century -- 7¼in. (8.5cm.) long; and an associated brass double ended pestle, 20th century -- 5¾in. (14.5cm.) long (2)
