Crossbanded on the front in tulipwood, the dentilled cornice above a pair of geometrically-glazed doors enclosing three adjustable shelves, the lower section with two simulated drawers enclosing a fitted interior with six small drawers, four pigeon-holes, a central cupboard and a green baize-lined playing-surface, above three graduated drawers, on shaped bracket feet, one later lock stamped 'BY ROYAL LETTERS PATENT BARRON SON & WILSON 136 STRAND LOCK MAKERS TO HER MAJESTY OFFICE OF WORKS', the handles original
