The circular gilt-tooled green leather-lined top above four frieze drawers and four simulated drawers, on a turned shaft with leaf-wrapped stem, on a concave-sided triangular base with scrolled feet and brass castors, lacking one castor, the underside with chalk inscription 'ND', one drawer inscribed 'Peg thro the Centre', later gilded
