Bullock invoiced seven 'dressing glasses' for the main bedrooms: four of the grander model at £6 10s each and three plainer at £5 6s each. On 16 May 1818, Boulton's clerk Walker wrote to Joseph (Bullock's clerk) in an attempt to settle the outstanding problems over the account and pointed out that 'the whole of the Swing-Glasses belonging to the Dressing tables were injured in the silvering by the improper revetting of the Back-boards, so as to occasion a very unsightly blemish, which was pointed out to, & acknowledged by the late Mr. Bullock.' An allowance of £1 seems to have been agreed aventually.
