DOMAINE LEJEUNE
This is a family Domaine, which has passed down the female line, from aunt to niece, through 5 generations. It has been carefully run since 1977 by François Jullien de Pommerol, one-time Professor of Oenology at the Beaune viticultural Lycie. Wine making is original: whole bunches are progressively foot-squashed in wooden vats, to liberate their juices slowly, building powerfully structured wines which age magnificently. AH
