DOMAINE MARC MOREY
The 1st Growth Virondot is almost wholly-owned by Marc Morey, and regularly the estate's richest, most structured, long-living single-vineyard in the village. The steeply-sloping plot, located just south of, and uphill from, Les Caillerets, was re-claimed from scrubland by Marc Morey's son-in-law Bernard Mollard, who runs the estate. Les Pucelles is a tiny holding, now pulled up and re-planted, but here producing wine from fully mature vines. AH
