Indistinct makers mark on the base, probably S.P for Samuel Pemberton (Birmingham)
a slightly larger example than usual with silver banded mother-of-pearl handle and plain shank part moulded with bands, wire helix. (some minor dents on the sheath and thread worn, handle loose on shank)
