Georgina was the 3rd daughter of Lord George Lennox, M.P.. She married Henry, Lord Apsley in 1789, who succeeded as 3rd Earl Bathurst in 1794. K. Garlick notes in The Walpole Society, vol. XXXIX, p. 30 a sitting in 1789 and a portrait of Countess Bathurst, in the collection of Earl Bathurst at Cirencester Park, has variously been identified with Royal Academy exhibits 1789, no. 232 and 1792, no. 150.
