in nickel plated brass, the main tube covered in woven twine, engraved signed near the eye-piece JAMES T. COPPICK LONDON and further engraved on flange H.E.H. Pain, R.N., shade slide with cap (dust slide missing); together with another similar signed LILLEY & SON LONDON, with leather covered main tube, each -- 18in. (46cm.) retracted
