A well-detailed planked and pinned bone model of a 74-gun ship-of-the-line
built by W.M. Wilson with bound masts, spars, standing and running rigging, carved warrior figurehead, hair rails, anchors, catheads, belaying rails, capstan, balustrading, companionways, gratings and upper deck guns and various members of the crew. The hull, with carved and decorated stern and quarter galleries, with painted bone strakes, mounted on a planked bone stand with wood rail surround on four ball feet within glazed case, Measurements overall -- 20½ x 26½in. (52 x 67cm.)
