The Tropica was the second most expensive camera in the 1930 Zeiss catalogue. Constructed in solid teak with heavy nickel-plated reinforcement at the corners, it was almost twice the cost (and weight) of the corresponding Adoro Tropical, which was of a lighter construction and was only advertised with a 'teakwood-finish'. The Tropica was discontinued in 1931.
