An export armorial tankard, Kangxi
painted in coloured enamels and gilt with a crest bearing an oak tree and grey hound, above the motto 'Seguitando Si Giunge', flanked by baskets of fruit and flowers and precious objects -- 6½in. (16.5cms) high.
The arms are of Lambert, see 'Chinese Armorial Porcelain', D.S Howard, page 206.
