Super-chancery 8° (159 x 102mm). Gothic type, printer's device on last leaf, initial spaces, some with printed guide-letter. (Without blanks a1 and t8, light marginal stain in first quire, a few small marginal holes.) Contemporary flexible boards covered with a vellum ms. fragment (writing mostly removed), evidence of 2 ties, FLYLEAVES FROM A C.11TH-CENTURY LITURGICAL MS IN FINE CAROLINE MINUSCULE (rubbed, some loss at spine); modern folding box. Provenance: early ownership inscriptions deleted -- Edmund McClure (bookplate).
