Chancery 2° (284 x 208mm). Roman type, later red initials. (Without first blank leaf, dampstained at lower corner, heavier at beginning and end, last leaf stained.) Contemporary German blindstamped calf over bevelled wooden boards, two fore-edge clasps (a little rubbed, hinges, corners and clasps renewed). Provenance: contemporary annotations in a humanist hand -- Baron Ferdinand Hoffman (large bookplate engraved by L. Kilian mounted on modern flyleaf).
