Median 2° (341 x 232mm). Printed in red and black, gothic types, text with commentary surround. Two leaves of index (CC2.3) misbound after title from an early date. (Some light browning, a few small wormholes, some staining at upper margin.) Contemporary German blindstamped pigskin over unbevelled wooden boards, two fore-edge clasps, vellum flyleaf at front added later, new endpaper at end (rubbed and scuffed). Provenance: stamp removed from title -- Robert Brandstätter (modern bookplate).
