Median 4° (230 x 163mm). Gothic type, illuminated by a south German (probably Nuremberg) artist, first initial in blue on punched gold ground within green, red and purple fictive frame, other initials in red or blue, red paragraph marks. (Occasional light browning or staining, marginal wormtrack in last 3 leaves.) Contemporary Nuremberg binding [Kyriss 118] of blindstamped calf over wooden boards, title lettered on upper cover (discreetly rebacked, retaining most of original backstrip, corner-, centerpieces and clasps missing).
