Mark of Johann Leonhard Allman, Augsburg, 1741-1743, the flatware with mark of Abraham Warnberger IV, 1769-1771
Comprising a compartmented spice-box, shaped oblong on four scroll feet, the cover chased with shells and scrolls, marked on side, an egg-cup on domed foot, chased with scrolls and rocaille on a textured ground, marked on body, a silver-gilt mounted glass, finely engraved with hunting scenes, the detachable silver-gilt cover spirally-fluted and chased with scrolls and shells, with acanthus bud finial, marked on cover, a table-spoon, table-fork, canon handled table-knife with steel blade, and marrow-spoon, all reeded and chased with rocaille, each marked, all in a lined and fitted tooled leather case
