Probably Frankfurt-am-Main, circa 1600, maker's mark MK conjoined
Slightly tapering cylindrical, on circular foot chased with acanthus border, the sides applied, possibly later, with figures of goddesses and their attributes, with grotesque masks and demi-satyrs within strapwork and scroll borders, with cast satyr and swan handle, the hinged domed cover similarly decorated and with grotesque thumbpiece and bud finial, marked under base
