Mark of Hermann Julius Wilm, Berlin, dated 1903
Partly fluted ovoid with beaded, scallop and pellet borders and chased floral and foliate border above, the hinged cover with baluster shaped ivory finial, with detacheable pierced inner collar, and scroll swing handle with ivory centre, the detachable tripod stand on three scroll feet with foliate terminals, and similar border, the compressed baluster shaped lamp with detachable collar and ivory scroll handle, marked under base, also stamped with scratchweight 'Gr. 1251' and indistinctly with date '1903'
