A CONTINENTAL GOLD-MOUNTED COMPOSITION BONBONNIÈRE SET WITH A FRENCH MINIATURE

Circular blue marbled composition box, the independent cover centred by a circular glazed miniature of a young lady in sea green bodice, white sleeves and cream coloured fichu, against a foliage ground, in a gold and light blue enamelled frame, the matted gold rims stamped with stylized acanthus, the interior lined with dark tortoiseshell
