mid-18th century,
each cartouche-shaped back headed by a foliate clasp above a padded back, arms and seat covered in blue and gold foliate-patterned silk, on flower-headed cabriole legs ending in toupie feet, one fauteuil with white painted inventory number '344' and metal inventory plaque with same number, other fauteuil incised 'IV' and with different metal inventory plaque with number '272' (2)
