A Campana shaped blue-ground vase, a smaller vase similar, a pair of cylindrical vases and a blue-ground vase with scroll handles
19th Century
The first with an everted rim and richly-gilt upright handles terminating in lion-masks, painted with a scrolling gilt-rectangular cartouche with a bouquet of flowers, a lesser cartouche to the reverse on a raised pedestal base (broken and re-stuck in two places to the base and vase); the second smaller campana-shaped vase painted in a similar style on a raised pedestal base (one handle broken and lacking); the pair of small cylindrical vases with everted rims and richly-gilt loop handles painted with a bouquet of roses and other wild flowers, with a single flower to the reverse, both on square plinth bases (one with a restored rim chip and a section lacking from handle); the fifth blue-ground vase of oviform shape, painted with a shaped gilt cartouche containing a spray of convolvulus and other flowers reserved on a mossy-ground, with richly-gilt scroll handles on a square pedestal base (losses to one handle)
