20th Century, the gilt-metal mounts later
Modelled as a gentleman wearing 18th Century dress, a flowered long jacket, pink striped breeches and buckled shoes, seated in a chair next to a desk with a quill, paper, pen rest and tricorn hat, he offers a flower to his seated companion, she is similar, wearing a purple and pink flowered dress and a pink shawl, hair worn in a bun, she holds a bunch of flowers and is reaching across the desk to her left side, both on shaped square bases with applied flowers, on gilt-metal-mounted supports, the cream lampshades with tassels, fitted for electricty (damages and restoration to chairs and chipping generally)
