With a crossbanded detachable rectangular top inset with a later panel of tooled leather and velvet panel to the reverse, concealing a frieze compartment veneered in ebony and inlaid with green-stained ivory for backgammon with holes for markers on the edge between featherbanded panels, containing a small drawer to either side with dummy drawer fronts, on cabriole legs with ormolu mounts with pierced C-scroll sabots, stamped 'JME'
