A CHINESE EXPORT ROSEWOOD AND POSSIBLY CAMPHORWOOD AND INLAID TEA TABLE
Early 19th century
The hinged swivel folding top with lines and crossbanded in satinwood, the reeded edge and rounded corners containing three drawers in the frieze with reeded rounded front angles and dummy drawer panels to the reverse on moulded panelled standard end supports with foliate scroll carved spandrels with honeysuckle and flowerhead ornament with carved paw feet, with Chinese calligraphy on the underneath of the drawers
