In the form of a miniature violin, the hinged back engraved with baroque decoration, opening to reveal a compartment; together with a gilt-metal snuff box, circa 1750, rectangular with engine-turned panels, the cover with a couple at a piano in a rococo landscape; and a gilt-metal etui, circa 1750, now converted to a lighter, oval with rococo flowers, each apparently unmarked
