A Tournai The Hague-Decorated spirally-moulded part service
Circa 1765-70, blue enamel stalk marks and various incised marks
Each piece painted with birds, perched on trees and among shrubs and grasses on rocky riverbanks and river islands, within spirally-moulded borders with four shaped blue panels gilt with scale ornament and edged with foliage scrolls suspending swags of coloured flowers, shaped gilt line rims, comprising:
A double-lipped two-handled sauceboat and lozenge-shaped stand (slight wear to stand)
Two circular butter-dishes and covers, the dishes with gilt-edged lug-handles, the covers with scroll finials (one lug-handle lacking)
Four shaped oval serving-dishes, in three sizes
A shaped circular dish
Two soup-plates
Two Meissen side-plates ensuite (chipped), mid-19th Century, blue crossed swords marks
