A Nymphenburg model of a mastiff
Circa 1770
Seated on his haunches with his head turned round, looking back to his left, his white coat with large mottled grey dark-brown patches, his tail curled upwards over his bottom, on an elongated shaped flat base edged with sweeping curves (left rear leg partially lacking, minute chipping to underside edge of base)
