A Matched Pair of Victorian Scottish Silver Trophy Cups and Covers
Mark of David Crichton, Edinburgh, 1895 and 1896
each circular section cup supported on a pedestal foot, with two applied leaf-capped handles and a detachable domed cover with a baluster finial, each engraved with two coats-of-arms and with an inscription to Sir William Ogilvy Dalgleish, Bart for a West Highland Ox, one from Smithfield the other from Perth - 34cm. (13 3/8in.) high, 93oz.
