Lot Essay

It is interesting to note the unusual dial on this watch. Not only does it have a two-tone surface with a matte inner section and a brushed outer ring, but the orientation of the seconds and minutes is unusual as well. Normally, Patek Philippe watches have the seconds track outside of, or on the same ring as, the minutes track; here, the seconds are inside the minutes.
