With nickel-finished lever movement, 25 jewels, the black dial with luminous dagger, dot and baton indexes, luminous Mercedes-style hands, sweep center seconds, the tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case with revolving black bezel calibrated for 60 units, screw back and screw down crown, together with a stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet and clasp, case, dial and movement signed

Even though the only early Submariner models that appeared in James Bond films were references 5510, 6200 and 6538, collectors today often refer to any Submariner without crown guard as a James Bond model.
