A SCARF-SWORD Circa 1660
With tapering double-edged blade (associated), one edge bordered on each face by a shallow fuller stamped '(Fran)cisco' and 'En Toledo', the blackened steel hilt (Norman type 112) with double-shell, arms, short arched quillons (one bent) with lobe-shaped tips, bolster-shaped pommel, and shagreen-covered grip (associated) bound with silver wire (incomplete), the surfaces encrusted in silver (rubbed) with flowers and foliage
