Second quarter of the 18th Century
With slender steel bow retaining its original string, cords, and pom-poms, walnut tiller (wormed) inlaid with engraved white staghorn panels and engraved with the initials 'CE' in front of the fore-sight, the cheek-piece made of a separate piece and inlaid with a horn oval engraved with a bird on a branch, iron nut, trigger-guard, and suspension-loop, set trigger, and dark horn bolt-clip and butt-plate
