With two-stage belled brass barrel octagonal at the breech and with a ramp at the rear, struck with barrel-forger's mark 'WB' (for William Buckmaster?), flat lock retained by three side-nails (mainspring missing), plain walnut full stock (minor defects), and brass mounts including flat butt-plate retained by nails, single-ramrod-pipe, and engraved solid side-plate (iron parts with surface pitting, ramrod missing), London proof marks
