A FLINTLOCK BLUNDERBUSS PISTOL

With two-stage belled brass barrel octagonal at the breech and with two mouldings at the muzzle, scroll engraved tang, signed border engraved flat bevelled lock with safety-catch, moulded figured walnut half-stock (shortened, minor defects) carved in relief with a shell at the barrel tang, paktong mounts comprising trophy of arms side-plate, grotesque mask pommel, and trigger-guard with acorn finial, paktong escutcheon in the form of a martial trophy, brass-tipped ramrod (defective), and later single brass ramrod-pipe, Tower private proof marks
