NABOKOV, Vladimir (1899-1977). Galley proof sheets for his interview conducted by Alvin Toffler, published in Playboy, January 1964. Together 10 galley sheeys, stapled, editorial corrections throughout.
GALLEY SHEETS FOR NABOKOV'S INTERVIEW, WITH CORRECTIONS AND NOTES MADE BY HIM.
Nabokov writes to Murray Fisher: "Thanks for the proofs of my little chat with your interviewer. I accept all your amiable suggestions. My corrections are very few. I substituted "statesman" for "politician" which has impossible connotations in America. I have deleted the "Montreux" in two passages because I would not like my exact address to be mentioned. Please, "Anna Karenin", not "Anna Karenina" which is meaningless in English although frequently met with. The rest are self-explanatory." (see below)
