A CARTHAGINIAN GLASS HEAD PENDANT
Circa 5th-4th Century B.C.
Rod-formed of turquoise glass, with an opaque white face, ears and nose, the eyes blue on white on blue, with opaque yellow for the blob earrings and open mouth, the hair a fringe of blue snail curls
¾ in. (2 cm.) high

Acquired by the current owner's family in the 1980s.
