TWO EGYPTIAN FAIENCE BEAD NECKLACES
Third Intermediate to Roman Period, Circa 1000 B.C.-200 A.D.
One with black and white disk beads interspersed with dark blue tubular beads and spherical carnelian beads, with a steatite scarab as a pendant, the underside inscribed for Men-Kheper-Re; and one with red and black disk beads interspersed with bright blue tubular beads and thin shell disk beads, with a carnelian bead and a blue faience amulet of hippopotamus-headed Taweret
