With a plain hoop, round in section, joined to the underside of a circular bezel, engraved with a horned winged lion-griffin seated in profile to the right with one forepaw raised, the snarling monster with a lion's body, a bird's tail, and a feathery sickle-shaped wing, its body accented by drilled stippling, a branch in the field between the forepaws and a linear device above the wing
