A GREEK GOLD AND GARNET BRACELET
Hellenistic Period, Circa 2nd Century B.C.
The hoop a ridged strap with stamped circles along the central ridge, each end ornamented with a tear-shaped garnet in a dog-tooth mount framed by beaded wire, the ridged terminals with loops now attached to a modern domed element capped with an ancient rosette of twisted wire centered by a granule
