A GREEK GOLD CRESCENT PENDANT
Hellenistic Period, Circa 3rd Century B.C.
Ornamented with filigree spirals, a standing draped figure of Aphrodite at the center, a kneeling winged Eros to either side, framed by a border of wire ropes framed by plain wire, and a beaded wire along the perimeter, each point terminating in a rosette with a pyramid of granules below, a ribbed suspension tube above fronted by a third rosette
