A SOUTH ARABIAN CALCITE-ALABASTER STELE
Circa 3rd Century B.C.-1st Century A.D.
Sculpted with a figure of a woman in high relief against a rectangular plaque, depicted wearing a long plain robe with a splayed hem, standing with her hands positioned below her small breasts, the tips of the fingers touching, adorned with three bracelets on her right wrist, two with rectangular beads, a single bracelet on her left wrist, and a necklace centered by a cylindrical bead, perhaps a seal, her head with recessed arching brows, almond-shaped eyes with indented pupils, a triangular nose, small mouth and prominent ears
