AN EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN CORE-FORMED GLASS ALABASTRON
Circa 2nd-Mid 1st Century B.C.
Dark blue in color, the straight-sided fusiform body with a convex pointed bottom, tapering neck and horizontal disk rim, with an applied opaque white marvered thread attached at the rim and wound spirally along the entire length of the body, tooled into a close-set feather pattern, with twin blue lugs on the shoulders
