Nine recorked in 1990, levels all into neck. Three recorked in 1991, levels: two top and one upper-shoulder. All with new Château capsules and labels. All of deep amber colour
Tasting note: sheer perfection...deep, rich amber, some a rose-tinted tawny; peaches and cream ride uppermost, also apricots, peeled sultanas, sometimes slightly chocolately, always richly penetrating. Also always sweet, never seeming to dry out, its flavour being a concentration of all the fragrances just mentioned, with great length and exquisite aftertaste. August 1998. M.B. *****
