A Meissen arched rectangular teacaddy and cover
Circa 1745, traces of blue crossed swords mark, Pressnummer 19, gilder's 16. to base
Painted in the manner of C.F. Herold with figures in extensive wooded landscapes within elaborate flowerhead scroll and foliage cartouches flanked by flowersprays, the sides with figures at discussion on quaysides, the cover similarly decorated and with gilt cone finial
4 7/8 in. (12.5 cm.) high
