A South Italian oviform wet-drug jar
Late 17th Century
With short spout and strap handle, painted predominately in yellow and blue with a portrait medallion of a lady beneath the spout and handle, flanked by flowerheads and scrolling foliage (spout repaired, foot extensively chipped, minor flaking and crazing)
8½ in. (21.5 cm.) high
