A pair of Coalport oviform two-handled vases and covers painted by Frederick Chivers
Circa 1920, printed green MADE IN ENGLAND/COALPORT marks
Each painted with fruit and berries against a mossy autumnal ground, signed, within a tooled oval gilt cartouche, reserved against a dark-blue ground enriched with gilt trailing leaves, within yellow and gilt borders, with richly-gilt ram's head handles and pinecone finial (one vase with cover and pedestal base restored, very minor hairline cracks to gilt ram's head handles)
