20th Century, imiation Sèvres interlaced L marks
Of slender tapering form, with tooled-gilt shield-shaped cartouches painted with a gallant and companion in landscape, the reverse painted with country landscapes, reserved against a bright-yellow ground, the domed covers with gilt-metal pine-cone finials above a band of polychrome flowers and pierced gilt-metal rim, with circular swag handles and lion mask terminals, standing on a raised square gilt-metal plinth moulded with stiff-leaves
