A Meissen group of Count Bruhl's taylor
Circa 1880, blue crossed swords mark and cancellation mark, incised numerals
Typically modelled with the tailor seated riding on a billy-goat, the tailor wearing black tricorn hat, pince-nez, flowered frock-coat, striped waistcoat, iron-red breeches and long black boots, balls of coloured thread about his neck, his sewing acoutrements in a box on a strap at his back, the goat with S-shaped horns and long wavy hair (chips and losses to extremities)
